The Anniversary map pack is a DLC map pack which was released for Halo: Reach on November 15, 2011 for 1,200 Microsoft Points, and was also bundled with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary as a download code. It was later released for free as part of the Halo Summer Celebration. Besides this, the maps are also available on the disc of Halo: Anniversary itself, serving as its multiplayer component. 10 new multiplayer maps for Halo Custom Edition. Some of the maps come from Halo 2 and Halo 3. Also minor changes to the weapons have helped to rebalance the multiplayer game. A summer release is expected. Snowtrap and Vertigo are the only maps still being worked on all the others are done or nearly done. Pipeline is still being modified some. From Halopedia, the Halo wiki The Bonus Map Pack was the first downloadable content package for Halo 2, released on April 25, 2005. The pack was released as a free download sponsored by Mountain Dew, and was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live before its shutdown in 2010.
